This “M 1 SEER2” update is good news for customers looking to improve their home’s energy efficiency and lower their utility bills over time, but it also means that equipment is going to be much more expensive. In fact, combined with the equipment supply chain restrictions we’re still dealing with, prices are expected to increase by, at minimum, 50%.
